Some Nashville Metro CMs have taken it upon themselves to address homelessness and the lack of low cost housing by attempting to modify coding restrictions throughout Davidson County. This is an on-going fight that has been postponed, but will become a crisis topic soon enough if WMNA doesn’t address it.

Thom Druffel, Councilman for District 23, has initiated the creation of a group to facilitate the D23 response to the proposed zoning changes.  This organization includes leaders from neighborhoods in D23, including several from West Meade and Hillwood (the largest neighborhoods in the district). More on their progress soon.
