This document defines a relationship between builders/developers and the West Meade & Hillwood Neighborhoods. The West Meade Neighborhood Association (WMNA) considers it very important that new development in the area is done with a respect for the environment, character and history of the neighborhood. Key areas addressed in this Memorandum of Understanding are preserving West Nashville’s tree canopy, reducing non-native and invasive plant life, maintaining historical features and securing residents’ safety during home demolition and building phases of new home development. WMNA recognizes that builders/developers are for-profit businesses, and desires to work with them to ensure the above tenets, and, in return, offers helpful marketing for builders/developers who commit to fulfilling the requirements of the Memorandum of Understanding Between Builders and West Meade Neighborhood Association.
